The First No-Elvis
Birdcage Records 1994
First No-Elvis began life as a Fan Club-Only release in 1994. That version of the CD, with different cover and booklet, was distributed for free to the thousands of members of the Dread Zeppelin Fan Club. In 1997, a new sleeve was designed and the CD was offered to the general public.

Review: “In the grand tradition of the Beatles’ annual Christmas releases to their fan club, First No Elvis was conceived by Dread Zeppelin to help celebrate CHRIT’MAS (Tortelvis: “Hey, that’s Southern fer Christmas!”). Lots of figgy puddin’, chestnut roastin’ good fun. Charlie Haj brings the Yule Log.
KASHMIR is a special, ‘Alien Mix,’ that is quite a bit longer than the version on Beanbuger. LAST RESORT is the shorter, single version of the song that was used in the motion picture, ‘Nation Lampoon’s Last Resort’ (original title: ‘National Lampoon’s Scuba School’).” ~ Amazon
